KIRA KIRA JAPON second season on air!
The Japanese Pop Culture TV Show second season has started on the French TV!!
Due to the success of the first season,aired from April to September of 2009, the Japan Pop Culture TV show "KIRA KIRA JAPON" second season has started airing on the 17th of October, 2009 at Nolife French TV channel. The show is produced by DLE Inc.
language lessons and Shodo (japanese calligraphy) and other cultural contents that are beyond the Pop culture will be also featured.
Also the collaboration with JAPAN EXPO event, enriching the website content, strengthening the E-commerce functions, aiming 100.000 subscribers for the e-mail newsletter will also be done. The goal is to bring together the culture of Japan and France through a Cross-Media project!
What is KIRA KIRA JAPON?
There`s a lot shiny (kira kira) things such as Anime, Manga, Games, Music, Fashion etc that are unique to Japan. This program KIRA KIRA JAPON is a TV series that will show all this Cool Japan things to overseas viewers. The hostess Asami Tano presents all the latest Japanese KIRA KIRA fashion, music and touristic information, from a Japanese girl standpoint. It was the first show on Japanese Pop Culture actually made by Japanese staff to air in France and it attracted a lot of attention of the French media.
What is KIRA KIRA JAPON`s strategy?
Inside Europe, France is the country with the highest interest in the Japanese culture, being the natural choice for the first market in DLE`s international expansion strategy. In the second season the show will be aired 10 times a week, including re-runs and new episodes. With such heavy exposition it becomes the media of choice for companies that aim to enter the French market. From here we aim to expand the show to the US, Spain, Italia, Russia, Taiwan, China, India, Brazil and other markets in the future.
