KIRA KIRA JAPON, a program focused on the Japanese Pop Culture produced by DLE, has started airing at French TV channel Nolife today (25th of April 2009) from 18:30 to 19:00.
 
What is KIRA KIRA JAPON?
There`s a lot shiny (kira kira) things such as Anime, Manga, Games, Music, Fashion etc that are unique to Japan. This program KIRA KIRA JAPON is a TV series that will show all this Cool Japan things to overseas viewers. The hostess Asami Tano presents all the latest Japanese KIRA KIRA fashion, music and touristic information, from a Japanese girl standpoint. This program is produced by DLE, the inovator of the Entertainment industry, known for its popular EAGLE TALON series. In the future we plan to mix the web, E-commerce and events such as JAPAN EXPO in a cross-media platform.

What is KIRA KIRA JAPON`s strategy?
Inside Europe, France is the country with the highest interest in the Japanese culture, being the natural choice as the first market in DLE`s international expansion strategy. All the rights are owned by DLE and it will be aired 7 times a week, including re-runs and new episodes. With such heavy exposition it becomes the media of choice for companies that aim to enter the French market. In the future we aim to expand the show to audiences in the USA, Spain, Italia, Russia, Taiwan and other markets.
